Add copyright into to Title Slide or customize footer

March 29, 2025
Is there a way to add the copyright information and CCLI License number to the title slides? I am currently using the footer option to do this, but it is not working well. I use a lower 3rd option for the live stream and am having problems making the footer large enough to be readable and not overlap with the Song Title / Author info that is currently put on the page.

Part of the problem is our church only has slow DSL (about 2MB upload on a good day). The church location does not have any other high speed internet options. I don't think we could even use satellite due to tall trees. If I make the footer font small enough to not overlap with the lower 3rds, it is not readable on the live stream due to the heavy compression of the video stream.

I think the copyright info, etc., is always put in the footer, but you have some control over where the footer is displayed. You might want to use the "Show footer on First slide only" option (in Settings > Footer). Then turn off the option to add a blank slide at the beginning of each song (in Settings > Song, Scripture & Slide Defaults) so that the title slide will be the first slide. Experiment with the various options to see what works best for you.

I just re-read your question and realize that I didn't read it correctly the first time. The Footer is where Presenter puts the copyright info, etc; I don't think you can put it anywhere else. And Settings > Footer is the only way to customize it that I have found. My church doesn't live stream, so I don't have experience formatting for lower thirds; there might be something there that I don't know about. Though I wonder if it would work to always have a blank slide at the beginning or the end, and put the footer there? There would be no other text competing for space, so you could easily make the font a comfortable size.
