Import NDI feed for projector display

Hi,

We are in transition of moving over to WE from Easy Worship. One feature I am using that would really be great, is to import my live feed through NDI from my OBS into WE to display on our projectors.

At time we would like to display or camera feed onto the projectors like when we do a baby dedication to that the people in the back can also see what is happening. I have also built a decent countdown timer for my live feed, but also need to display that on my projectors. I do not want to run 2 different countdowns.

One way would be to use the NDI virtual webcam app and bring that in as a video source in Presenter. Latency (in general with networked video) might be an issue in an iMag setting though.

I use NDI virtual cam as a workaround to feed NDI through Live Video Feed, latency not an issue. You need a dedicated network if you have lot of NDI source. I wish soooo much that presenter include and NDI source input and NDI output. It would be simpler for our volunteers on sunday. More plug and play.

I have used this with a MAC but have to open Virtual Input and select the camera source everytime before being able to link to it in Presenter. I have tried some sort of automation but no dice. Do you have to do the same?

yes and for most volunteers at my church it's too much trouble. + when you have more than one feed you need NDI router app to route NDI source to your NDI virtual input. If Presenter could have multiple NDI source, that would be great.

We only have 1 NDI source so that is not too bad but it would be so much easier if Virtual Input would remember our chosen source so we did not have to go through the sequence of opening Virtual Input and selecting the NDI source every time we open the PC and before using Presenter. Just a hassle.

I spent many hours, which I will never get back, trying to get AI to provide me with a script that would automate the Virtual Input sequence but to no avail.

We used to use a physical switch to swap between Presenter and our camera feed to project before having an NDI camera. Can’t think how we could do that now.
