Using Spoken Elements - anyone got a solution?

June 21, 2025
Hey all, we sometimes do spoken elements that I'm putting together when planning (call to worship, etc.).
When I'm writing those elements, I like to review things like formatting, line breaks, etc. to understand how it will be displayed.
While I know I can go into Presenter and create slides, it's a lot easier to do it right in the planning tool.
The only solution I can find is to create a "song" with the spoken words and format it as I want.

Am I missing someting? Is there a better way to do this?

If it's a feature request here's how I'd describe it
As a user, I would like to have a separate library for spoken elements, that works the same as the 'Songs' feature, where I can create, format, store, and re-use elements easily from the Planning tool that shows up just like Songs do in Presenter.

To edit the song formatting in presenter, you would need to modify an existing template. You can modify an existing template, select it from the list, make your changes, and Save. To make a new template, click Create New, give the template a name in the text box above the Formatting tab, customize the template with the various formatting options, and Save.
