On Sundays we use presenter at the same time in two buildings. Our issue is that the buildings have different needs and so in one we want 2-4 lines of lyrics for songs and in the other 4-6 lines.
From what I can discover this means we need to duplicate all the songs in our library, which is very inconvenient; or is there another way to achieve what we need?

Hello PJ,
Currently, there are only 2 ways to accomplish what you want to do. First, you can import a second copy of the song with a different "Max lines per slide." This means you'll have two listings of the same song in your library with slightly different settings. The second option is to edit the existing song and reformat the line breaks.
Please see this support article for more info:

This is most unsatisfactory and extremely disappointing.
How can Worship tools claim to support multiple simultaneous venues whilst this issue exists. Duplicating the songs is a cumbersome work around.
The WorshipTools Suite is so close to being brilliant, but is missing a few core capabilities that seriously undermine its usefulness.

There is a new version of Presenter coming out shortly which I believe will have the ability to have multiple custom slide orders. This may help you, but really, there is time and effort that needs to be spent in editing each custom slide order as well. So in the short term, maybe duplicating the songs isn’t that much more work.

This is not a technical issue - think of your operator! For building 1, they will have to step forward every 4 lines, but for building 2, they will have to step forward twice as often after every 2 lines, So, when the operator presses the 'next slide' key, which display are they changing; building 1, building 2 or both?
I guarantee you will get wrong verses displayed frequently enough for the congregation to start complaining.

Two custom slide orders would be great. As you say, not much less work than duplicating songs, but a much better solution in the long term.
I have followup questions:
1. What is the ball park timeframe for the new version of Presenter? Days, weeks or months?
2. Is there a roadmap of what is on the list for future versions of Presenter and Planning?

They had said last week that they were hoping to release a Beta version by last Friday, but that didn't happen so maybe this week. In the mean time, I've been experimenting in their Alpha version, and compiled a list of what we should see in the next few weeks:
Alpha 18 (2026.1.0) Feature List
Top-Right Output Preview
The live audience "Monitor" window has been moved to the top-right of the control screen to optimize vertical eye tracking and consolidate status icons.
Per-Slide Custom Layouts
Allows you to assign different visual templates to individual slides within a single song (e.g., a "Title" slide layout followed by "Lyric" layouts).
Multiple Slide Layouts
Allows you to create multiple different custom layouts instead of just one and name them, e.g. "Allan's Version", or "Communion Version".
MIDI Output (Service Level)
Enables sending MIDI commands (Notes, Program Changes) to external devices like lights or a Behringer X32 directly from slide triggers in the service list.
Hardware Display Pinning
Uses unique hardware IDs (EDID) to lock video feeds to specific physical ports, preventing your projector and TVs from swapping when the power-on sequence changes.
Stage Display ChordPro Support
Musicians can now see musical chords displayed above lyrics on the rear TV if the song notes are formatted with ChordPro tags (e.g., [G]).
Native M4 (arm64) Optimization
A complete re-build of the app architecture to run natively on Apple Silicon, reducing latency for multi-screen rendering and MIDI firing.
NDI with Alpha Channel
Native support for sending "transparent" lyric overlays over the network to streaming software like OBS without needing a green screen. No need for a third party NDI app.
Integrated Slide "Element" Editor
A updated editor that allows for direct "drag-and-drop" manipulation of text boxes and media layers directly on the slide canvas.
Service Property Icons
New quick-access icons in the service order pane for faster toggling of MIDI, backgrounds, and screen-specific overrides.
No guarantees on any of this, but this is what I'm aware of so far.

Interesting updates, thanks. How does one get access to beta releases?
