mp4 noot compatible?

Lately, whenever I import an mp4 video to Presenter, it says that the format is not compatible and if I would like Presenter to convert it. To what format is it converting to?

I'm just another user, so I can't give an authoritative answer, but it's probably converted to a different mp4 format. You see, mp4 is a container format, which means it contains data in one of several possible formats. And the mp4 standard has changed over the years, so an older mp4 might not conform to current standards.

I have noticed that when I get this message, the converted file is usually smaller than the original, sometimes much smaller. That definitely helps when you're on Presenter's free plan. Why you've been getting this message lately is hard to say, but I wouldn't worry about it. As long as Presenter converts the file satisfactorily, you should be fine.
