Hi,
I've just recently started using WorshipTools and am having some trouble understanding the permission settings.
I want the members of my video team to have access to manage services, editing, rearranging, adding new items, etc. They don't need everything that's available at the global Editor permission level, though.
I thought I could set them as Viewers globally but Editors for the specific service type, but one of my team members is still unable to edit services. She can see all of the services in Presenter, but when she tries to save a change, it says "Your user login does not have permission to make service changes".
Am I right in thinking that these settings should work, or am I misunderstanding something? Please let me know if any other information would be helpful.

She is likely signed in with a different person's login. There is only one "Scheduled Viewer" (global) on your account and she has never logged in. Everyone else is Scheduler or higher. Schedulers would not have editing abilities, so she might be signed in under one of the Schedulers' logins.

Hi,
Thank you for the quick turnaround. I originally had the user (Natalie) as Viewer globally and Editor for Sunday Morning services. Should that have accomplished my goal?
She was unable to edit still, so I upgraded her to Editor globally for now. I wanted her to be able to learn the new software while I figured out the exact details of the permissions.

Yes, she should be able to edit Sunday Morning services if she is Global > Viewer & Sunday Morning > Editor.

Hi again. I tried changing a different user to Global Scheduler and Sunday Morning Editor, but she also was unable to edit services. I've reverted the Video team to global Editors again for now.
Is there any other information I may be overlooking? Should Sunday Morning Editor allow users to edit the service order as well as the items within the Service? I've reviewed the Permission table in the documentation, but I didn't see one specifically for Service level permissions in case there are any differences
Thank you

Service level permissions are the same as global permissions, but specific to the relevant service level.
Please email us screenshots of the permissions settings on your users and have them share a screenshot of what they're seeing on their Planning.

Hello, I had the same problem in my organization. I want to know if service-type editor permissions are enough for a user to use Presenter and edit songs inside it. Any update?
