Can both versions be installed on the same system? I want to move to the new version but keep the old one for now.
Presenter 2025 & 2026
My understanding is that a Mac keeps them separate. On Windows, installing 2026 just for yourself will allow the 2025 version to stay on the computer. Installing 2026 for everyone on the computer removes 2025. But you can always uninstall 2026 and reinstall 2025 if you want to go back.
Your bigger problem is data compatibility. The two versions share the same data if you're using the same account. Some things are compatible between 2025 and 2026 and some things are not. If something from the 2025 version doesn't work with 2026 and you change it to make it work, then it won't work with 2025. The more you do in 2026, the harder it will be to go back to 2025. You can't easily go back and forth.
I opened a new free account to test 2026, but that approach also has problems. It preserves the production account, but doesn't have the library of songs, templates, announcements, etc. that your production account has. And it has the limitations of a free account, so you can't test everything you might do in a paid account. It is a good way to see for yourself some of the changes in 2026.
You might want to browse the threads in this forum to get an idea of the challenges 2026 brings. There's also a Facebook group that has been very active lately, mainly about the 2026 version. https://www.facebook.com/groups/worshiptoolsusergroup. It is hard to go back from 2026 to 2025, so learn as much as you can about 2026 before switching.
