Using my chord charts instead of ChordPro charts

June 17, 2026
Hi All,
New to WorshipTools, so I thought I'd ask the more seasoned users. When setting up a service in Planning, I will pick my songs and even if I choose one of my charts of that song, it defaults to the SongSelect version. I really want a complete flow of the song, Not the scaled back version that SongSelect puts up there to follow Prime.
I save my charts in a pdf format so I can save as an attachment. It works fine, but the big drawback is I can not change keys.

Any help is appreciated.

Based on what you said, I'm not sure that I have anything that will help you. I'm assuming after setting up a service (in Planning) that you go into Charts and select a custom ChordPro file that you made? Is the problem that you set it to ChordPro for a given song and the next time you open that service in Charts but the song reverts back to Song Select version? Or is it just that whenever you add a given song to a new service that it always starts as the Song Select version?

Sometimes I will use the Song Select version, but I often create my own ChordPro chart and select that within Charts. For me it seems to stick with whatever chart type I select for each song within a service (i.e. changing the source to ChordPro, Song Select or PDF attachment).

What I believe I see is if the CCLI number is filled in, it reverts to the SongSelect file. If I remove the number I can use my edited ChordPro chart.
Try it and see if that is true.

Thank you,
