Different default background for songs and bible verses

I'm trying to find out if there is a way to have a different default background when displaying songs verses displaying bible verses. I do not want to have to set up the background every time I create a service

There is no way to separate the default background for didn't types of service items. However, on the Scriptures dropdown at the top of Presenter, there is a "Background" option. If you select a background there before adding a passage to the service or firing to the screens, that background will apply to the Scripture slides. That background will stay selected as long as Presenter is running.
