Projection window showing on laptop screen. Can't change it to swap to the connected HDMI screen.

Hi there. I just downloaded the free version of Presenter onto a laptop with an external HDMI television connected to it. I'm just trying to test out the software to see if it fits our needs. My issue is, Presenter has decided that the projection display is my laptop screen and the television is my software control screen. When I go into "Display Configuration" I am provided with no options to switch the two screens. The only options it shows are "Display Off" or my laptop screen.

My HDMI screen is set up as an extended desktop in my windows 10 settings. Does anyone have any idea how to get it to allow me to switch the two displays? I can't imagine this behavior is intentional.
