Double-Booked Schedule Conflict Pop-Up

We have several volunteers that serve in multiple areas (worship, nursery, etc). It would be really helpful to have a conflict notification pop up if someone's already been scheduled in another ministry similar to how unavailable dates pop up. For example, if John Doe is already scheduled in nursery and then the worship leader tries to schedule them on the same week, they'll have a pop-up that says "John Doe is already scheduled in another role, are you sure you want to schedule them?" Multiple roles still allowed, just letting the schedulers know.

There's a small calendar icon to the right of peoples' names when scheduling them to a service. Please click that icon to see when and where the person is serving and schedule roles accordingly. The reason we have opted for this over a pop-up is because many roles can be "double-booked," for example, the "Worship Leader" can also serve in "Announcements," "Scripture Reader," etc.

This is so needed for our team. We use the scheduling matrix to plan out weeks at a time but the small calendar icon doesn't show there. The way that it shows greyed out when a person is 'unavailable' is really useful. So similarly the person's name could show in a different colour. It would still be clickable because like you say some roles do overlap. Highlighting in some way would serve as a small warning to the admin that the person is serving elsewhere and then the admin can make the call to rota them or not.

Absolutely agree! We’re in the same boat with multiple team leads with people serving across many ministries. Greying them out when already scheduled would be very helpful indeed!

Please can the calendar icon be made available in the Scheduling Matrix under "Accept", "Decline", "Delete". Would be nice to see it as part of the overview.

Yes this is SO needed! I personally serve in four different areas, three of which cannot overlap so this feature would save so much time when planning services. I understand what WT have said about the calendar icon and use it constantly myself, but no matter how many times I've walked our worship team scheduler through it, I always end up being scheduled on at the same time I'm already down for something else.
