I just added two songs to my set list and I selected the versions that had chords, when it has been added there are no chords, just lyrics. I went back into each song to change the format and add the chords, it shows `LOADING' but the chords still don't appear. How can I get round this, it's never happened before.
No chords?
Hi Richard,
Can you provide the specific songs that you tried this on?
It could be because SongSelect doesn't have ChordPro on file for those songs. They might have chord PDFs, but Music Stand draws from the ChordPro, and if SongSelect doesn't have the ChordPro for the specific songs you're looking for, it won't pull chords. But that still doesn't explain why you're seeing that unending LOADING screen.
You can still get chord charts into Music Stand from SongSelect, but it will take a couple extra steps:
To do it in Music Stand via a mobile device: https://www.worshipextreme.com/docs/1611-adding-attachments
To do it in Planning from a desktop or mobile web browser: https://www.worshipextreme.com/docs/1702-editing-songs

The two songs are ‘God is Able’ CCLI # 5894275 and ‘Forever (We sing Hallelujah)’ CCLI # 7001228.
Of course I can still get the chords via Song Select but I use the Music Stand app in church, in Music Stand I can create a set list, in Song Select I would have to search each song individually, not ideal.

So, I was able to confirm that both those songs have the ChordPro available in SongSelect, so they should import without issue. I tested the import on my Music Stand and it worked without issue.
Could you email a screenshot of what you're seeing? Send it to [email protected]. And also, is this happening to all songs, or just those two in particular?

That’s because I just edited both songs in ChordPro myself and entered all the chords 😁, my gift to the world of sung worship
This seems to be an ongoing issue: I've had to create chord music PDF's from the Song Select programme for "All we need (Charlie Hall)", The voice of hope (Lara Martin)" and "Create in me (David Fellingham)" out of a total song set of 8 pieces. No problem accessing the chord music from Song Select, but Music Stand would only show lyrics.
BTW - I'm a different Richard (Douglas), based in the UK
Richard Douglas - this article will explain why you're not getting chords for those songs:
