We have recently been having issues with Google Slides service items not showing a random slide. Unfortunately, we have had some congregational readings that required "People" responses only to experience a blank white screen. The Stage Display shows correctly and the service item "thumbnail" image displays. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? This last service, between readings and songs, we had 3-4 blank slides, which was embarrassing for the multimedia team.
In testing, it's also not always the same slide. I can go to a different Google Slide service item, then go back to the one having the issues and the blank slide will be 4 instead of 3. This is also happening on different computers, not just one computer. I cleared the Google Slides Cache, per tech support, but that didn't work either. I thought it could be related to the sync, but when testing, I would go edit the Google Slide (copy the "missing" slide, delete the old slide, then re-sync). That seemed to work in testing before the service. Unfortunately, during the live service, we had random white blank slides again (just on the Main Audience Display). My work around will be to download the slides either as JPG from Google Slides or as a PPTX and then upload into Presenter.
Hopefully there will be a "fix"/"solution" somewhere.

Seeing the same thing. Sometimes editing the presentation and re-syncing fixes the offending slide...and then the same problem happens with a different slide! Frustrating as we've automated a lot of things to Google Slides, so converting to PowerPoint adds work.

+1 Seeing the same issue. Hope this gets fixed in the couple of weeks.

I can confirm this is probably a WT problem. When you go to the slide deck in Google Slides and publish it, then view it in the browser, you don't get the random blank slide. On the other hand WT Presenter has not been updated in like 6 months. I'm baffled.

+1 on this issue. Seems to have only started in December. @support, can you offer some updates, feedback, or words of wisdom on this issue? Thanks

When Google Slides is loaded in Presenter, it loads in a context that positioned by Presenter, but Presenter doesn't have control over the content inside of it. For now, I recommend downloading the presentation from Google as a PPTX file and importing into Presenter.
