Multiple ChordPro Charts Option

November 18, 2025
We have multiple music teams who for various reasons (technical ability, preference, etc.) like to do different versions of the same song, even through the lyrics and general formatting might be the same. Is there any way to have multiple ChordPro instances in the same song without having to duplicate the entire song and renaming it. It looks pretty goofy to the congregation to see the title of a song like "Come Now is the Time to Worship (Brad's Funky Version)". And I don't think Charts can render ChordPro coding that may "hide" another pasted version of the song in the same file, even though that would be a work around.

WorshipTools only supports one ChordPro arrangement per song. If you need different versions for different teams, the current solution is to duplicate the song and edit each copy. Charts cannot display multiple hidden ChordPro files in one entry.

I second this feature. We also have several different teams (different leaders for each team) and being able to select different ChordPro versions would be super helpful. We may have one regular style for a song but on occasion might want to do it a little differently. Being able to select which one, title it something you can remember and like Allan said, not have the congregation see whatever "goofy" titles we may use, is so key for me and my co-worship leaders to truly be able to use this! I used Planning Center Online in the past and they have "Arrangements" as a way to setup different verse/chorus sequences, keys and chord sheets all for one song. Not being able to do this in WorshipTools is still one of my hang-ups.
