Motion backgrounds not auto firing when auto advance of slides is going

How do you make the motion backgrounds work when auto advancing through a slide set? I seems like only the first one in the slide series has motion and when advancing through the remaining slides, the motions do not work. You have to manually select the slide for the motion to work. This does not seem like how it should work.

Hi Bonnie. Are you using the Motion Graphic with lyrics and/or Scripture foregrounds? Lyrics and Scripture cues are not eligible for auto advance, regardless of whether they have a motion graphic in the background or not, and require manual advancing of slides.
