Bandgroups

We have multiple worship bands (5+) and need to organize them. Is it possible to create specific band groups within WorshipTools (like Community App 'housegroups') so that leaders/members can only see their band's schedule in the planning view?

I recommend using the Custom Fields in this instance on the Community Page. Custom Fields allow you to tag people with additional information—such as which band they belong to—and then use that data to filter and organize your teams. For example, you can create a Select or Text custom field called “Band” and assign each person to their group. Once set up, you can filter people based on that field to quickly view or manage specific bands.

To create a custom field, head to Community → Custom Fields and use the + Custom Field button to add a new field. You can choose from Text, Date, Select, or People field types depending on how you want to structure your band assignments.

While this won’t restrict visibility in Planning to only a person’s band, it does give you a structured way to organize and filter your worship teams.
