Freeware alternative to Powerpoint not recognised depite it showing *.pptx format.

February 22, 2020
Hi, My church wants me to put in a notice sheet which is a powerpoint slide. My PC doesn't have Powerpoint, but I can display the notice *.pptx file on my PC in Libre Office Impress, a freeware copy of the Microsoft tool. Can you look to making Libre office Impress also loadable into Worship Extreme. When I try to import the slide, Worship Extreme complains that Microsoft Powerpoint is not available, so it doesn't recognise Libre Office Impress. Thank you.

One option is to import he slides into Worship Extreme on the computer where they are made. They will then sync over to your presentation computer.

Another option would be to import the ppt deck into google slides and link that.

I would really love it if Worship Extreme could incorporate importing from LibreOffice Impress. I use it almost exclusively, and Worship Extreme is the only reason I have to install Power Point on our church PC. Would that ever be possible someday in the future?

Presenter will work with Google Slides, Keynote, and PowerPoint. It won't work with other presentation programs, even if the file itself is in a .pptx format. For the purposes of importing slides into and using them from Presenter, we highly recommend using Google Slides as a free alternative to PowerPoint.

Google slides only works online and it added clicks when we're being sent powerpoint files by guest preachers. We use Linux for ppt is not an option. integration with libre office would eliminate this issue
