Main Audience Output not working on Church Projector

January 4, 2024
Hi. I have been building our first service and successfully using an HDMI connected external monitor which shows the Main Audience Output screen as I would expect. I have connected the same laptop to our Church projector today and all I can see on the projector screen is my main Presenter display, which shows 'Main Display Off' in red and does not allow me to toggle anything on/off.

The projector is working fine as it it displaying my screen, but nothing I do is allowing Presenter to detect the Projector and allow Main Audience Output to show instead of my main screen. I have come home plugged into my external monitor and it all worked as it should first time.

Would appreciate any thoughts as we are going to have to pull the plug on our hopes to use Presenter as things stand.

Blessings

Please check your Presenter Screen Configuration settings and make sure the Main Audience Output is being routed to the right display

Hi, the problem I am having is that no displays are being shown for Main Audience Output when connected to the projector - I get Main Display Off in red and no displays show. As soon as I connect my external monitor it shows as a display and works as expected with Main Audience Output.

The projector is working fine as I see my whole Presenter screen being projected - with the preview of Main Audience Output in lower right. Just can't get it to just act as the Main Audience Output.

Thanks

Steve

Check your computer's screen configuration settings. Make sure that the computer recognizes the projector as an external screen and mirroring is turned off.

We have now resolved this issue. It was necessary to swith to extended displays before starting Presenter. Now looking good :-)
