Adding verse numbers to scripture verses, plus position of reference

When I create a slide for the scripture, is there a way to ensure this includes the verse numbers in front of each individual verse?
Also, is there a way to reduce the size and adjust the position of the reference so it is in the bottom corner and slightly smaller. Even selecting "bottom left" for the reference, it ends up being quite high up the slide when only showing a single version, plus it is the same size as the text
