As we have bilingual services it would be useful to have for bible text in two columns, one for each language

Presenter slides are quite basic in what they offer. Worship Tools keep telling us they are working to improve them, but there is not yet any timescale.
So, to deal with your question, you cannot have two columns in a single text box. But the easy way is to resize your text box to half the slide and add a second text box for your second language Bible text. The user guide
https://www.worshiptools.com/en-us/docs/31-slides-editor gives you some guidance.
Note also that, when you create a second text box, it will have the Presenter default text font and settings. If you have adjusted how text is displayed in your first box (font, size, outline, fill colour etc.), you will have to re-do it for the second box. To avoid that, I normally duplicate the text box, resize it to fit the available space, then edit the text.

Thanks, Paul! This makes it possible to make two columns - even though it means a lot of work... I am trying out Presenter as our ProPresenter 6 is starting to have problems and to upgrade feels rather pricey. I imported my song texts from PP and was quite happy until I noticed it only had brought one set of texts from the PP slides - one language but not the other. The problem now seems to be that while I can make a new slide with two columns, I cannot change an existing one into a slide with two columns. Apparently I have to go the "create new slide"-route which is al lot of work copying and cutting and formatting ... But still, good to know - and maybe there is a way to do it also to an existing slide?

You might think about preparing your own custom slide template, with the two 'columns' already set up. Look here
https://www.worshiptools.com/en-us/docs/139-slides-templates for more details.
I have not tried importing any slides, so I don't know whether changing the template would help with the automation.
