I have just downloaded the last version of Presenter 2026. It is release 2026.1.1. Normally, a 1.1 release is the first production version.
Does this mean that the Beta phase is now complete?
I'm still not sure it is production ready; When I installed it on a PC that has not been used for a few weeks, it did not update the local cache from the cetral media storage (even though it said it was synchronising the cache)
Worship Tools has removed the beta label from the new version and officially released it. I'm skeptical myself; I think it still has too many bugs. I'm not upgrading my church's computers anytime soon.
I am also waiting for a while but I am anxious to start using some of the new features. My biggest concern is that in doing testing at church (with our multiple displays, lighting now able to be triggered by the MIDI out features, etc.), if the new version touches the main data base, will the data base still be intact when I launch the stable 2025 version again? Will there be formatting changes to the songs? Plus, some of the new features I would have liked to have played with at home are not available to me because the test account I'm using is the free version while our main account is the pro version that includes multiple displays. And I didn't want to pay for two pro versions. But I didn't want to experiment with the pro account since that's our main data base! I don't mind spending a few hours at church on a Monday getting this set up, but I absolutely don't want any surprises on a Sunday morning!
