Page turner not working post iPadOS 18 upgrade

Hi all, no updates yet. We're working on this daily, but since iOS 18 dropped support for what we were using, it's taking some time to re-engineer. Thank you for your patience.

With regards to the bluetooth keyboard work around. Is this any bluetooth keyboard that is working, or does it need to be a genuine apple keyboard?
I'm now looking to buy a keyboard purely for this workaround. I'm leading worship this Sunday and got a lot of page turns, and really could do with a workaround.

Mine's not genuine and it works with it. I turn it on, hit space, and then turn on my pedal and test. It's worked every time so far.

I wanted to add a bit of information here. I thought my Lekata page turning pedal was the problem before I found this thread and I purchased a Joyo pedal. In the settings for Joyo you can switch between Page Up/Page Down, Up arrow/Down Arrow, Left/Right, and a setting that looks like boxes in the top right and left corner. Nothing does anything except the last setting which seems to send a signal that replicates pulling down from the top left or top right corner. At least I know Bluetooth is working and it seems to be sending some commands and they’re making it to the iPad. So it seems either Charts can’t ingest the button presses into the app or something.

I also read turning full keyboard access off in Accessibility would help but it did not. I tried it with settings on and off. I’ll be trying the Bluetooth keyboard and hopefully that works while the developers solve the issue. I hope this can be fixed soon.

Does anyone know of a debug mode (or could the developers build one in the app) to show exactly what inputs it’s receiving when pressed? Perhaps a key mapping would work?

Could do with an update from worship tools about this. Is this fixable? or can they suggest a page turner that does work?

Hi all, we're actively still working on a solution here. From what we see, all bluetooth pedals are not working. iOS 18 has dropped what we were using to capture events, so this new architecture is taking some time to build.

Any timeline for this?

We still have a few problems to solve before we can provide an eta. But as soon as we find a solution, it would be a quick fix and release.

I just bought a page turner for my iPad and couldn't get it to work. I tried everything and then I found this thread. Unfortunately my iPad is also version 18. I tried to connect my bluetooth keyboard to it but that workaround didn't work out :(

Please, release this fix ASAP!! :)
