Google Slides transparent background

I am having trouble getting the transparent background that I have on my Google Slides presentation to be transparent in Worship Extreme. When I pull up the presentation in Presenter, it just shows as a full background that is white. I'd like to be able to show live video behind the slide. Is this not possible, or am I just missing something?

As an alternative to this, if there's a way to get a semi-transparent background fill for a text box in Presenter's slide creation (I need the presentation to be able to include images, so I don't think I can just create a song instead of a slide group), that might be even better, but it looks like that's not an option.

Google Slides take up both your background and foreground, so you cannot add a background to Google Slide cues in Presenter. You could do a video feed behind Presenter Slides. But not with third-party slide imports.

If you add the video to the Google Slides, it should play in Presenter. Although, I'm not sure if Google Slides support live video feeds.
