Changing max lines per slide can cause duplicate line to appear

Example, I have this lyric slide labelled Chorus:

> Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
> how great thou art, how great thou art!
> Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
> how great thou art, how great thou art!

When I change max lines to 2, this slide is split into two slides (correct!), however, they BOTH have exactly the same content.

ChorusA
> Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
> how great thou art, how great thou art!

ChorusB
> Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
> how great thou art, how great thou art!


*** What actually happens: ***

ChorusA
> Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
> how great thou art, how great thou art!
> Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
> how great thou art, how great thou art!

ChorusB
> Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
> how great thou art, how great thou art!
> Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to thee:
> how great thou art, how great thou art!



This only seems to happen if the lyrics on a slide are repeated.
