What if WorshipTools doesn't have the translation I'm looking for?

If you can't find the Bible translation you need in our list of provided translations, you can manually import Bibles for use in Presenter. To be compatible with Presenter, the Bibles must be in XML format (.xml). Files in other formats, such as Word Documents (.docx), PDFs (.pdf), plain text (.txt), etc., cannot be used for Bible importing.

How to find XML Bibles

You can begin your search by visiting this public directory. This is an open website where users can share Bible XML files they have created. There are numerous Bibles available on this site. However, if you cannot find the specific one you are looking for, you may need to search the wider Internet using Google or another search engine. Please keep in mind that while some Bibles may be readily available in XML format, others may not exist due to various reasons, including copyright restrictions.

WorshipTools is not affiliated with the directory linked above and has no control over the content available on this site.

Installing an XML Bible into Presenter

If you have obtained an XML file of your desired translation, the next step is to import it into Presenter. To do this, open the Presenter app, click the ⚙ gear icon in the top right corner, and then select Settings. In the settings menu, navigate to the Bibles tab on the left and click + Import XML Bible. Once the import is complete, the imported XML file will show in the settings window, and then click Save. Close and restart Presenter, and your new Bible will be ready for use in your church service presentations.

If you use Presenter on multiple computers, go to Settings > Bibles after importing the XML file and click the download button next to the imported Bible. This will upload it to the WorshipTools Cloud for access on other devices without re-importing. On each computer, click the download button next to the uploaded Bible in Presenter settings after the initial import.

Note: There is no standardization for XML files, as anyone can create them. This means that some XML files may not be formatted in a way that Presenter can process correctly into presentable Bible data. If you encounter issues with an XML file, please reach out to our support team at [email protected].
