Editing Song Slides

Song Formatting

When you are editing a song, you have the option to make various formatting changes. If you have not selected any specific text, any adjustments made through the right formatting panel —such as changes to the font style, font size, text color, font weight, text alignment, and other style elements—will be applied to the entire song. This means every line of text in the song will reflect the formatting changes you make.

Selection Formatting

Alternatively, if you choose to highlight a specific portion of the text, the formatting changes will apply only to that highlighted section. This allows for more customized formatting of certain parts of your song without altering the entire piece. Important Note: When you apply selection formatting, it will override any previous song-wide formatting settings. Additionally, if you decide to apply a template to your song, it will remove all selection formatting you previously set.

Clear Selection Formatting

If you ever need to reset the formatting applied to a selected portion of text, you can easily do so. Simply click the eraser button located under the "Song Formatting" tab in the "Formatting" section. This action will remove all custom formatting from the selected text, reverting it back to the song’s default formatting settings.

Break Slides

To create a slide break within your song, click the + option at the top of the Slides panel on the left, which will add a blank slide to the song. Drag and drop the blank slide to where you want to provide a "break" in the song. This feature is particularly useful for organizing your song into distinct sections, making it easier to follow along during performances or presentations.
