Accessing the Song Library

Access your full song library right in the WorshipTools Charts app without adding songs to services. The Song Library is accessible to all users on your account as long as they have Viewer permissions or higher. Users can scroll through the library, open songs, view charts, make annotations, and more.

To get to the Song Library, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of your Charts dashboard page and click Song Library.

Scroll through and tap on any song to access the song's available materials. Depending on your permission level and your church's account integrations, you may even see the option to search and pull songs from SongSelect® and Loop Community's libraries.

Adding Songs to the Library Manually

To add your own songs to the library, click Create New in the upper right corner of the Song Library window. (These steps are also applicable when viewing the library in the context of a specific service.)

Fill out the song title and artist fields. You can also type or paste in ChordPro® by clicking the Edit ChordPro button. Adding ChordPro is optional but highly recommended. To learn more about ChordPro, please see this article: What is ChordPro?

Once you save your new song, you'll be taken back to the dashboard. From there, reopen the Song Library, and find your song.

If you added ChordPro in the previous step, you should see the rendered chord chart when you open up the song. If you did not add ChordPro, you'll see "No song attachments available" in the center of the sheet. Click the blue Add PDF or ChordPro button to open the Source window. From the Source window, click Add in the upper right corner, and select either ChordPro or PDF and add your materials accordingly. You can also access the Source window by clicking the name of the song at the top of the screen, then Select source... 77.png

Finally, you can also add songs through the Planning app. We recommend you add songs through Planning when possible, as it provides tools to manage both your Presenter slides and Charts chord charts.
